Exhibitors must comply with the State of Connecticut Fair And Show Requirements.
Due to liability insurance requirements, only teamsters or members of the pull right committee may be in the pull ring during the draw. Plastic, synthetic or goad sticks will not be allowed. Wood or twisted whip lash will be permitted.
The Draw shall be conducted under the rules of the Connecticut Ox Owners & Drivers Association.
All cattle shown must be under Federal Supervision for tuberculosis. A premium of $10.00 will be paid for each pair of oxen or steers exhibited on the grounds. A special premium of $15.00 will be paid to the exhibitor showing the best three pair of cattle owned and exhibited by him/her. If there shall be no competition in any of the draft classes, second money only will be paid. In working oxen and steers, prizes shall be withheld in any instance wherein the animal shall be unworthy in the opinion of the judges.
Draft Cattle - Section A
No pair to be shown in more than one class. No draft cattle shall receive first premium unless in competition. No entry tags will be issued in this class, but each exhibitor should file an entry form with the Secretary. All animals must remain on the grounds until 6:00pm Sunday. No halters, reins or anything but conventional yoke may be used in drawing.

All cattle deemed unfair for exhibition must be removed from the grounds. All decisions of the Judges and/or Chairman shall be final.

- This trophy is donated in memory of Alfred "Soup" Armbruster by his family. "Soup" participated at the Terryville Country Fair for over 40 years, competing in all classes of oxen.
